Yes, I am going to give it a stab as i am not sure the names of the parts of the cacao flower. The anthers (on the end of the stigma or filament) is darker red on the Nacional flowers. Subtle, but possible to notice. I will post a close up.

Barbara - beautiful photo. For the benefit of ChocolateLife members who've never been to origin, can you please describe the differences they should be looking for - starting out with which flower is Nacional and which is criollo.
